QUEENSLAND


Queensland is the second biggest Australian State. It is the most visited tourist destination in Australia.
Queensland is called "the sunshine State" because of its sub tropical climate, where the temperature goes between 21 and 38o C in summer and it varies from 10 to 25o C in winter.

Brisbane is the capital and it is the third biggest city in Australia (population of about 1.5 million).

In the Southeast coast there is Gold Coast, the second most visited destination in Australia.

Cairns is located on the northeast coast of Queensland. There are tropical forests with native fauna and flora. Its beauty is just amazing. From Cairns you can have access to the Great Barrier Reef.
